Is a man and van cheaper than hiring a skip?
Usually, yes. There’s no permit to pay for and no waiting for a skip to arrive, and you only pay for the space your waste fills. We also do all the loading, which a skip doesn’t.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. AM Clearance is registered with the Environment Agency and fully insured. Your waste is disposed of legally, and you get a waste transfer note as proof.
What types of waste do you remove?
Household, commercial, garden and building waste. That includes furniture, appliances, general junk, wood, metal, plasterboard, soil and rubble. If you’re not sure about something, just ask.
Do I need to do any lifting?
No. Our team does all the lifting and loading, wherever the waste is. Upstairs, in the garden, or down in the cellar, you point and we clear it.

Can you collect if I'm not there?
Yes, as long as we can safely access the waste and we’ve agreed everything beforehand. Plenty of customers leave us to it and come back to a clear space.
